BCCW Website, Ticketing and Sales Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Black Country Championship Wrestling website and to purchases made directly from Black Country Championship Wrestling, including event tickets, season tickets and physical merchandise.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About Us

In these Terms and Conditions, “BCCW”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BLACK COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING LIMITED.
“You” and “your” mean the person using our website, purchasing from us or attending one of our events.

2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to:

use of our website;
-
tickets purchased directly from BCCW;

season tickets and multi-event ticket products;
-
merchandise purchased through our website;
-
attendance at BCCW-promoted events; and
-
any other product or service where these Terms are expressly incorporated.
Individual events, promotions, ticket types or products may have additional terms. These will be made available where relevant.
Event venues may also operate their own admission, safety, licensing and venue rules. You must comply with those rules while at the venue.
Where there is a conflict, BCCW's terms governing the purchase, cancellation and refund of a BCCW ticket will apply unless different event-specific terms were clearly disclosed before purchase and may lawfully apply. Venue rules will normally take priority on matters concerning admission, security and safety within the venue.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Orders and Formation of a Contract
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the relevant ticket, season ticket, product or service.
A contract is formed when we accept your order and send confirmation to the email address or other contact details provided by you.
Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if anything appears incorrect.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and order information.
We may refuse or cancel an order before fulfilment where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
a product or ticket is unavailable;
-
an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred;
-
payment has not been authorised or received;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised purchasing;
-
a published ticket limit has been exceeded; or
-
we are unable lawfully to complete the transaction.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken and you are not at fault, the amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded.
4. Prices and Payment
The total mandatory price payable will be made clear before you complete your purchase.
Any unavoidable booking fee, transaction fee, tax or other mandatory charge imposed by BCCW will be included in, or clearly incorporated into, the total price shown to you before you commit to purchase.
Optional extras will not be added without your agreement.
Delivery charges relating to physical merchandise, where applicable, will be displayed before you place the order.
Promotional prices, discount codes and early-bird offers may be subject to specific availability periods, quantities or eligibility requirements.
Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order. You will be given the opportunity to purchase at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Event Tickets
All event tickets are subject to availability.
Unless stated otherwise, tickets relate to a leisure event taking place on a specified date or during a specified period. The normal statutory 14-day cooling-off right applying to many online purchases does not generally apply to these dated event tickets.
This means that, subject to your statutory rights and the cancellation, rescheduling and material-change provisions below, you are not automatically entitled to a refund simply because:

you change your mind;
-
you are no longer able to attend;
-
your travel arrangements change;
-
a member of your party is unable to attend; or
-
you arrive late or miss part or all of the event.
A valid ticket or other accepted proof of entitlement must be produced for admission.
Electronic tickets, QR codes or barcodes must not be copied, duplicated, altered or shared with multiple people. Once a ticket has been successfully scanned or otherwise used for admission, additional copies may be rejected.
If a ticket is lost, deleted, stolen or inaccessible, contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to verify the purchase and assist, but replacement cannot always be guaranteed where ownership cannot reasonably be established.
6. Seats and Ticket Categories
Where a ticket is sold for a specific seat, row or ticket category, we will take reasonable steps to provide that entitlement.
Occasionally, operational, accessibility, production or venue requirements may require seating to be altered.
Where reasonably possible, customers affected will be offered an equivalent or better location. If a change materially reduces the ticket
entitlement and an appropriate alternative cannot be provided, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances.
Standing, general admission and unreserved areas do not guarantee a specific position unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
7. Changes to Matches, Talent and the Event Programme
Professional wrestling events are live performances and are subject to change.
Unless expressly guaranteed otherwise, advertised:

wrestlers and other performers;
-
matches;
-
opponents;
-
championships;
-
match stipulations;
-
appearances;
-
timings;
-
running order;
-
segments; and
-
other elements of the event programme
may be changed where reasonably necessary because of injury, illness, travel problems, contractual circumstances, safety concerns, creative requirements or other operational reasons.
The removal or alteration of an individual wrestler, match or programme item will not automatically mean that the event has been cancelled or materially changed.
When considering whether a change is material, we will consider the overall nature of the event and whether it remains substantially the event that a reasonable customer would have expected when purchasing.
A significant change to the event date, a substantial change of location or a fundamental change to the nature of the event is more likely to constitute a material change.
8. Cancelled, Rescheduled or Materially Changed Events
Event cancelled
If BCCW cancels an event and it is not rescheduled, customers who purchased tickets directly from BCCW will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid to BCCW for the affected ticket.
Event rescheduled
If an event is rescheduled, your existing ticket will normally remain valid for the replacement date.
We will use reasonable efforts to contact purchasers using the details provided when ordering.
Where the rescheduling represents a material change and you do not wish to attend the new date, you may request a refund within any reasonable refund period communicated by BCCW.
Material change
If an event is materially changed and you decide not to attend because of that change, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and before attending the event.
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will refund the appropriate amount to the original purchaser using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refunds requested after a rescheduled event has taken place or after the relevant ticket has been used may be refused unless required by law.
9. Circumstances Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Events can sometimes be affected by circumstances outside BCCW's reasonable control, including extreme weather, venue closure, public authority decisions, transport disruption affecting essential personnel, serious illness, public-health restrictions, power failure or other exceptional circumstances.
Where such circumstances require an event to be cancelled, postponed or materially changed, we will act reasonably and provide the remedies required under these Terms and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this clause removes any statutory right you may have to a refund.
10. Travel, Accommodation and Other Arrangements
Customers are responsible for making their own travel, accommodation, childcare and other arrangements associated with attending an event.
We recommend considering flexible or refundable arrangements where significant additional costs are involved.
BCCW is not responsible for independently purchased travel, accommodation or other services except to the extent that we are legally liable for the loss concerned.
11. Season Tickets
A BCCW season ticket provides admission to the events and benefits specifically identified when the season ticket is purchased.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
-
a season ticket is a one-off purchase and does not automatically renew;
-
it only includes the BCCW events identified as forming part of that season-ticket package;
-
additional events added to the BCCW calendar are not automatically included;
-
failure by the holder to attend an included event does not create a right to a partial refund; and
-
normal changes to matches, talent and event programmes do not create a right to a partial refund.
Where a season ticket provides a reserved seat, we will take reasonable steps to retain that seat throughout the applicable season. If venue or operational requirements make that impossible, we will seek to provide an equivalent or better alternative.
If an included event is cancelled and not replaced or rescheduled, an appropriate proportion of the season-ticket price will be refundable.
If an included event is materially rescheduled and the season-ticket holder cannot or does not wish to attend the replacement date, an appropriate proportion of the season-ticket price may be refunded.
Any merchandise discounts, early entry, pre-sales or other season-ticket benefits are subject to the details advertised when the season ticket is purchased.
We may make reasonable changes to ancillary season-ticket benefits where necessary, but we will not materially reduce the core admission entitlement without providing an appropriate remedy.
12. Ticket Transfers and Resale
Unless an event or ticket is expressly stated to be non-transferable, you may transfer a ticket to another person for genuine personal use.
You must not:
-
reproduce or duplicate a ticket;
-
sell complimentary or promotional tickets for profit;
-
commercially exploit tickets without BCCW's permission;
-
use tickets as part of an unauthorised competition, promotion, hospitality package or advertising campaign; or
-
use resale or transfer arrangements to circumvent published ticket limits or other restrictions.
Anyone receiving a transferred ticket is subject to these Terms and any event-specific terms.
BCCW cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unofficial sellers or third-party resale platforms.
Where a ticket has been fraudulently duplicated, the first valid ticket successfully presented may be admitted and subsequent copies refused.
13. Admission and Behaviour
Admission remains subject to these Terms, any event-specific requirements and the venue's reasonable rules.
BCCW or venue management may refuse admission or remove a person where reasonably necessary because of:
-
violence, threats or aggressive behaviour;
-
harassment, bullying or discriminatory abuse;
-
serious intoxication or drug-related behaviour;
-
deliberate interference with wrestlers, staff, equipment or production;
-
entering the ring, backstage or another restricted area without permission;
-
throwing objects;
-
behaviour creating a safety risk;
-
possession of prohibited items;
-
ticket fraud;
-
persistent disruption to the event or other customers; or
-
refusal to follow reasonable instructions relating to safety or venue operation.
Where admission is refused or a person is removed because of their own serious misconduct or material breach of these Terms, a refund will not normally be provided.
Nothing in this clause permits unlawful discrimination.
14. Children and Young People
Any specific age restriction applying to an event will be stated on the relevant event information where applicable.
Parents, guardians and accompanying adults are responsible for supervising children in their care.
Live wrestling can include loud music, crowd noise, theatrical violence, flashing or moving lighting, smoke effects and other live-production elements.
Parents and guardians should consider whether the event is suitable for the individual child attending.
15. Accessibility and Reasonable Adjustments
BCCW wants its events to be accessible and inclusive.
We will work with our venues and customers to consider reasonable adjustments for disabled attendees.
This may include, where reasonably available and appropriate:
-
accessible seating or viewing positions;
-
assistance relating to entry or queuing;
-
assistance dogs;
-
disability-related food, drink, medication or equipment;
-
communication requirements; and
-
other reasonable accessibility arrangements.
Customers with specific requirements are encouraged to contact BCCW as early as possible so appropriate arrangements can be considered with the venue.
Any general prohibition on animals, outside food or other items is subject to reasonable disability, medical and legal exceptions.
BCCW will not charge a disabled customer for a reasonable adjustment that we are legally required to provide.
16. Security and Prohibited Items
For safety, licensing and venue-security reasons, some items may not be permitted.
Depending on the venue, prohibited items may include:
-
weapons or items reasonably considered capable of being used as weapons;
-
illegal drugs or substances;
-
laser devices;
-
fireworks, flares or other pyrotechnic items;
-
glass containers;
-
unauthorised alcohol;
-
professional recording or broadcasting equipment without permission; and
-
any other item reasonably considered likely to create a serious safety or security risk.
Food and drink restrictions remain subject to disability, medical, infant-care and other reasonable exceptions.
Security searches may be carried out as a reasonable condition of entry.
If you refuse a reasonable security search, admission may be refused.
Where an item cannot be taken into the venue, you may be required to remove it from the premises, surrender it where lawful and appropriate or otherwise deal with it in accordance with venue or police instructions.
17. Late Arrival and Re-entry
We will make reasonable efforts to admit latecomers, but admission may be delayed until an appropriate point in the event for safety or production reasons.
Re-entry after leaving the venue is subject to the relevant venue's policy and may require confirmation from event or security staff before leaving.
18. Audience Photography, Filming and Recording by BCCW
BCCW events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed or audio-recorded.
As a result, attendees may appear incidentally in crowd shots, background footage or recordings of the event.
BCCW's collection and use of identifiable images and recordings is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
We do not rely simply on the purchase of a ticket as unlimited consent to use a person's image for any purpose.
Where appropriate, BCCW may rely on legitimate interests for reasonable event coverage, documentation and promotion. We will provide information about such recording and consider reasonable objections and opt-out requests where appropriate.
For photography or filming where an individual is deliberately made the main focus, such as certain posed promotional photographs or FanZone activities, additional information or permission may be sought.
Particular care will be taken where identifiable children are the primary focus of promotional photography or filming, including seeking appropriate parent or guardian permission where required or appropriate.

19. Photography and Recording by Attendees
Personal photography and reasonable short-form video recording using mobile phones or similar personal devices may be permitted unless prohibited by the venue, event-specific conditions or an announcement at the event.
You must not, without BCCW's prior permission:
-
professionally record an event;
-
record complete matches or substantial portions of the event for redistribution;
-
livestream an event;
-
commercially exploit footage or photographs;
-
interfere with BCCW's production or other customers' enjoyment; or
-
use flash, equipment or positioning where it presents a safety or operational problem.
The intellectual property in BCCW's performances, branding, graphics and produced content remains owned by BCCW or the relevant rights holder.
20. Health and Safety
Customers must comply with reasonable health and safety instructions, emergency procedures and venue announcements.
Events may include special effects such as:
-
loud music and amplified sound;
-
theatrical lighting;
-
flashing or strobe effects;
-
haze, smoke or atmospheric effects;
-
pyrotechnic or similar effects where permitted; and
-
sudden loud noises.

If you have accessibility, sensory or medical concerns relating to event production, please contact BCCW in advance where possible.
Attendees must not enter the ring, backstage areas, production areas or other restricted spaces unless specifically authorised.
BCCW may introduce proportionate health measures where reasonably necessary to comply with law, public-health requirements or venue obligations.
21. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
BCCW is responsible for loss or damage suffered by a consumer where it is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
BCCW is not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable or that was not caused by our breach or negligence.
If you are using our website or purchasing as a consumer, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity.
Customers remain responsible for their own personal belongings. BCCW and venue operators will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee that belongings will not be lost, stolen or damaged.
22. Merchandise Orders
Merchandise shown on our website is subject to availability.
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings, manufacturing batches and other reasonable factors.
If we are unable to supply an ordered item, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for that item.
23. Merchandise Delivery
Available delivery methods, charges and expected delivery information will be shown during the ordering process.
Unless a different timeframe has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by applicable consumer law.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
If a parcel is returned to us because incorrect information was provided, we may require reasonable additional delivery costs before resending it, where permitted by law.
24. Cancelling an Online Merchandise Order
For most physical merchandise purchased online, consumers have the right to change their mind and cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.
To exercise this right, contact bccw2021@gmail.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
You may also use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, although you do not have to use it.
After notifying us of cancellation, the goods must normally be returned within 14 days.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
You may handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may make a lawful deduction from a refund where the value of goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop.
Where applicable, a refund following cancellation will include the standard outbound delivery charge originally paid. If you selected a more expensive delivery method, we do not have to refund the additional amount above our cheapest standard delivery option.
Refunds will be processed within the timescales required by law.
25. Exceptions to Merchandise Cancellation Rights
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to certain goods where an exemption applies by law, including goods which have been genuinely personalised or made to a customer's individual specification.
Any relevant restriction will be made clear before purchase where applicable.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer-law requirements.
26. Faulty or Incorrect Merchandise
Goods supplied by BCCW must meet applicable consumer-law standards, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their normal or agreed purpose.

Your statutory rights to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy are not affected by these Terms.
27. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, content made available by BCCW through the website, including logos, graphics, photographs, video, branding, event names and written content, is owned by or licensed to BCCW.
You may access and use the website for personal and lawful purposes.
You must not reproduce, commercially exploit, systematically scrape, distribute or republish BCCW content without permission except where permitted by law.
Nothing in the purchase or possession of a ticket transfers intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.
28. Website Availability and Third-Party Links
We aim to keep our website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, suspend or change website features where reasonably necessary.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Those third parties operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies and contractual arrangements.
BCCW is not responsible for third-party services merely because our website links to them.
29. Promotions, Competitions and Special Offers
Competitions, prize draws, referral promotions, giveaways and special offers may have additional rules.
Where separate promotional terms are provided, those terms apply alongside these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse participation or withdraw a benefit where there has been fraud, manipulation or a material breach of the relevant promotion's rules.
30. Privacy and Cookies
How BCCW collects and uses personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
Those policies should be read alongside these Terms but are separate from the contractual terms governing your purchase.
31. Complaints
If you have a complaint concerning an order, an event or BCCW's services, please contact:
Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant order or incident.
We will seek to investigate and resolve complaints fairly and reasonably.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, we will provide information about any Alternative Dispute Resolution arrangement that we are legally or contractually required to make available.
Consumers may also obtain independent guidance about their rights from Citizens Advice.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, website, events, law or regulatory guidance.
The version applying to an existing purchase will normally be the version in force when the contract was made.
We will not retrospectively make a material change to an existing consumer contract simply by updating the website, except where the change is required by law or is otherwise lawfully agreed.
The latest version will be published on our website with the date it was last updated.
33. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If BCCW does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have permanently waived that right.
34. Third-Party Rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise, no person who is not a party to the contract between BCCW and the customer has a right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
This does not prevent a venue or another party from exercising rights it independently has under law or its own applicable terms.
35. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms and any contract between you and BCCW are governed by English law.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, this does not remove any mandatory rights you have to rely on consumer protections applicable to you or, where the law permits, to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
